When you place an order through the Ember Spirits Website, the delivery, dispatch and fulfilment of your order will be handled by Celtic Whiskey Shop in line with its applicable delivery processes, courier arrangements, delivery territories, delivery timelines, charges, restrictions and alcohol-shipping requirements. 

By placing an order, you acknowledge that Ember Spirits works with Celtic Whiskey Shop for order fulfilment and delivery, and that delivery information may be shared with Celtic Whiskey Shop and its courier or logistics partners where necessary to process, dispatch and deliver your order.

Celtic Whiskey Shop ships to many destinations, including Ireland, Northern Ireland, the United Kingdom, selected European territories, the United States, Australia, the Far East and other international destinations, subject to availability, courier access, customs requirements, alcohol-shipping restrictions and applicable local laws.

Delivery timelines vary depending on the delivery destination, courier capacity, customs processing, dispatch schedules and the delivery option available at checkout.

Estimated delivery timelines may be displayed at checkout where available. These timelines are estimates only and may be affected by:

Returns Policy

Our aim is to make sure our customers are 100% happy with their purchase and to ensure that it arrives in perfect condition.

If you are unhappy with your order, we will refund your order within 14 days of when the order was delivered. However, we must be notified within 7 days of when the order is delivered that you will be returning and accept to pay the cost of returning the product. Refunds will only be issued including shipping costs if they were delivered in error, defective or badly damaged. Orders for bottles with personalised engravings cannot be cancelled or refunded.

Refunded orders must be returned in the original packaging and in good condition for the refund to be granted. Refunds will be processed within 14 days of receiving the product(s).

Ember is a modern Irish whiskey brand crafted around mood, flavour and occasion.

The range includes Bright, Still and Deep: three 8-year-old Irish whiskeys created for lighter, quieter and richer moments.

Bright is fresh, lifted and gently spiced. Still is smooth, gentle and quietly layered. Deep is rounded, warming and rich with sherry depth.

Bright is crafted for lighter moments, with notes of vanilla, citrus, honeyed malt and gentle spice. It suits first pours, celebrations, hosting gifts and social moments.

Still is crafted for quieter moments, with notes of stout, cream, vanilla, soft oak and roasted warmth. It suits evenings in, thoughtful gifts and slower conversations.

Deep is crafted for richer moments, with notes of dark fruits, spice, caramel, oak and lingering sweetness. It suits dinner tables, after-dark pours, milestone gifts and moments that linger.

Important information

Whilst we try to maintain a very high standard of service there is always an element of risk in sending alcohol overseas. Therefore we must warn our customers that there may be possibilities of customs charges or seizures when sending goods to certain countries outside the EU. In the event of such charges or seizures, Ember will not be responsible for the payment of these extra customs charges and we will not be able to offer any kind of compensation or refund.

We will label our goods in such a way to minimise any charges or seizures but in some cases they may be unavoidable. If you have any concerns regarding shipping to your country then we recommend contacting us first before placing an order. Occasionally errors can arise in the pricing and information displayed for our products. In the event of such errors we reserve the right to cancel sales and refund the customer for the amount paid.

USA Tariffs 2025

As we await full clarity on the rules surrounding the newly introduced 20% tariff, we wanted our USA customers to be aware of the following:

At the moment it looks like tariffs are only to be applied to goods valued at over €800.

Therefore while we await absolute confirmation, we will not be automatically charging a tariff fee on transactions for orders going to the United States for orders under €800. If your order is over €800 we will contact you after the order has been placed to apply the surcharge.

If the situation changes and the tariff needs to be applied, we will contact you before we ship your order and give you the option to pay an additional surcharge or cancel your order.
